iomart Secures PSN Pan Government Accreditation From Cabinet Office

CloudSure Environment Is Approved for Public Sector

Cloud company iomart (AIM: IOM), has announced that it has been awarded Pan Government Accreditation (PGA) by the Cabinet Office for its CloudSure environment.

The PGA certification confirms that iomart can process OFFICIAL information at the very highest level of security assurance. The service is available as PSN Private Cloud and a PSN Private Community Cloud or a public cloud accessed from the internet. PSN and non-PSN environments can be connected by an assured bridge on a per-customer base.

Central and local government departments will no longer need to seek an independent assessment of iomart's CloudSure environment and associated services. The accreditation scope also covers infrastructure and storage components and includes iomart's email service, backup and its supporting control panel.
