BOSTON, April 11, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Marking the launch of the Group Insurance Commission's annual enrollment this week, Iora Health and UniCare today announced that Group Insurance Commission (GIC) non-Medicare members in Greater Boston in the UniCare State Indemnity Plan will now be able to choose Iora Primary Care for their primary care needs, effective July 1, 2017.
Iora Primary Care is designed to meet the needs of adults 55+. With more time available, Iora's doctors and care teams get to know their patients, which in turn enables better health outcomes. Teams work together to help patients get questions answered, receive the highest level of benefits, and save money. Members (non–Medicare) of the UniCare State Indemnity Plan who choose Iora Primary Care will experience an improved patient experience.
