Iowa based FarrPro, Inc. announces exclusive sales agreement for new Haven product
IOWA CITY, Iowa, Jan. 2, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Iowa City, Iowa, based FarrPro, Inc., an agtech startup has entered into an exclusive product representation agreement with Ag Environmental Resources, LLC, to sell and distribute FarrPro's flagship Haven product.
Ag Environmental Resources (AER) is a well-established product representation company specializing in the design and delivery of ventilation, heating and cooling systems that optimize the living environment of barn raised livestock. By representing a few key companies AER has the flexibility to create comprehensive and effective solutions designed to increase animal performance and production for livestock producers in the swine, poultry, dairy and turkey markets.
Chris Hanson, FarrPro co-founder and Vice President of Business Development, describes the reasoning behind their decision. "We are introducing a new product into a market where swine producers have used cheap, highly inefficient and sometimes deadly heat lamps to keep pigs warm for decades. The agreement between the companies gives AER the exclusive right to sell FarrPro's Haven product in the 48 contiguous United States.
FarrPro focuses on creating innovative, energy- efficient solutions for livestock producers who want to increase profits by improving the health, welfare, and quality of life of their animals. Their Haven product creates an energy-efficient microclimate along the creep wall of a farrowing crate that keeps piglets warm, safe and healthy. The result is an optimized environment for piglet growth and sow comfort.
