TOKYO, Feb. 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Infoteria Corporation has unveiled its latest version of SnapCal, a calendar app for iPhone and iPod touch that lets users manage and share calendar events through personal cloud services including Facebook, Evernote, Google Calendar and Twitter. In this version, SnapCal has added support for Evernote Food, the application to memorize "food experiences" from Evernote.
"We're excited to see that SnapCal has built the world's first integration with Evernote Food into their excellent calendar application," said Phil Libin, CEO of Evernote Corporation. "Placing meals from Evernote Food onto the calendar context expands the ways people can interact with their food memories. It's great to see their innovative approach."
With SnapCal and Evernote Food, users can experience the following:
- You can import "food experiences" information that you wrote on Evernote Food, such as photos of food you ate, names of people you ate the food with, and the venue and atmosphere where you ate the food. Those pieces of food information are automatically managed and displayed in SnapCal's rich calendar view.
- You can tweet the "food experiences" to Twitter from SnapCal with a touch of button. You can also import the others' "food experiences" tweeted on Twitter into your SnapCal calendar.
- You can synchronize your "food experiences" with Google Calendar, and then publish them on the web.
