iQmetrix Ranked Among 50 Best Small & Medium Employers in Canada for 2011

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Oct. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- iQmetrix is pleased to announce it has been named one of the 50 Best Small & Medium Employers in Canada for 2011, as determined by the Queen's University School of Business and AON Hewitt.

The annual Best Small & Medium Employers study ranked iQmetrix 24th among the 50 Best Employers across the country, in this size category. The Small & Medium Employers category is reserved for organizations with 50 to 399 permanent employees. The study measures employee engagement, based on employees' degree of intellectual and emotional commitment to their workplace.

This ranking is a significant win for iQmetrix, in addition to being ranked 14th in the PROFIT 100 – Canada's Fastest-Growing Companies list in June of this year.

In fact, iQmetrix is only the third company in the last five years to make it to the Top 25 of both the 50 Best Small & Medium Employers and the PROFIT 100 in the same year.

The study is conducted by the Queen's Centre for Business Venturing, the Queen's University School of Business and AON Hewitt. Organizations that have operated in Canada for at least three years and have between 50 and 399 Canadian-based permanent employees are eligible to participate. The 2011 study marks the 6th time the study has been conducted. The 2011 list of the Best Small & Medium Employers in Canada will be published in the November 8, 2010 issue of Maclean's magazine, available on newsstands on October 28, 2010, and the November 4, 2010 edition of La Presse newspaper.
