Ira Haimowitz, PhD, EVP, at The CementBloc, to Present on Best Practices in iPad Interactive Selling at 11th Annual ePharma Summit™
NEW YORK, Jan. 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Ira J. Haimowitz, Executive Vice President, Group Director, Intelligence and Analytics, at The CementBloc, will be a featured presenter at the eMarketing University for Brand Managers, a symposium at the ePharma Summit in New York City on February 6, 2012.
The symposium is a full-day course designed for those in pharmaceutical product management seeking to incorporate digital tactics into their marketing mix. Dr. Haimowitz will be presenting on the benefits of transitioning to closed-loop, iPad-based detailing. His talk is entitled, "Transforming Your Organization Through Interactive Selling." He will bring to the symposium his unique expertise in the use of technology in pharmaceutical sales and marketing.

Prior to joining The CementBloc, Dr. Haimowitz spent nearly 10 years on the manufacturer side as a Director and Team Leader in marketing and sales operations and analytics for pharmaceutical companies Pfizer and Organon. He then served as Vice President, Group Director of Insights and Optimization, at Wunderman, leading a team deploying analytics across healthcare, financial services, and consumer packaged goods.
Dr. Haimowitz received his PhD in computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1994, and his MPhil from Cambridge University in computer speech and language processing. He has spoken and published extensively, and has also served for 7 years on the board of the Pharmaceutical Management Science Association, including a term as President in 2006.
