"Preparing for an IRONMAN requires intense, long duration training sessions. Whether it's running, biking or swimming, I need to recover fast so I'm ready for the next challenge," O'Donnell said. "The results of BIO Power speak for themselves. The fact that my BIO Power Band has made the transition from training to everyday gear speaks volumes to me."

"Timothy trains hard and competes against some of the greatest athletes in the world. We're honored that BIO Power is part of his winning strategy."
BIO Power is an integrated technology based on the therapeutic effects of bioceramics, ultrafine mineral particles extracted from the Amazon rainforest that have photo-thermal properties. The technology is integrated into apparel and other products during and after the manufacturing process to help the body restore itself and generate natural energy.
When heated by the human body, the minerals emit far infrared radiation that increases cellular metabolism, induces analgesia, promotes muscle relaxation, and decreases inflammation and oxidative stress. Bioceramics also have reflective properties that enable the material to echo infrared radiation naturally emitted by the body.
IRONMAN Brasil features a beautiful course that has been attracting athletes from all over the world for over 15 years. The 2.4-mile mass-swim start is located on Jurere Beach. The mostly flat two-loop 112-mile bike course will challenge athletes with four major climbs and descents. Athletes will finish with a 26.2-mile run with a 13-mile loop with one hill and two 6.5-mile loops that are mostly flat.
