ISRI Mobile App Wins the Prestigious MarCom Platinum Award

WASHINGTON, Dec. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) was recently named the recipient of a 2015 MarCom Platinum Award, in the category of App for Information. The award was given for ISRI's iPhone and Android app ISRI Mobile. The app provides safety resources, industry news and events, commodities facts and figures, and ISRI Chapter listings. ISRI members can use a searchable Member Directory, connect with state and federal elected officials, read the latest edition of Scrap magazine, publications and governance documents, and more.

MarCom Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.

MarCom's Platinum Award is presented to those entries judged to be among the most outstanding entries in the competition. Platinum Winners are recognized for their excellence in terms of quality, creativity and resourcefulness. About 16 percent won this award.
