About the Author

J. K. Fausnight grew up in Ohio, and became an atheist at age 15 after taking an interest in science, culture, and world history. Joining the Air Force in 1980, he served as an Arabic and German linguist, and over the next 13 years lived in Greece, Germany, England and United Arab Emirates with frequent travel to Saudi Arabia. Returning to America to settle in the Bible Belt, he observed American spirituality with fresh eyes. He now lives in Georgia with his wife of 28 years, as a computer programmer for the U.S. Army. He enjoys biking, cave rappelling, and hiking with his co-workers and two sons. This is his first book.
