Ivanti Patch for Windows Achieves Common Criteria EAL 2+ Certification

The new Common Criteria EAL 2+ certification for Ivanti Patch for Windows 9.3 Update 1 is an extension of an earlier certification earned under the Shavlik brand prior to becoming Ivanti. It ensures that Ivanti Patch for Windows will continue to meet Common Criteria requirements without need for further evaluation. The certification is an important accreditation for global organizations as well as federal, state, and local government and educational institutions. About Common Criteria

Common Criteria is an internationally recognized set of guidelines (ISO 15408) that defines a common framework for evaluating security features and capabilities of information technology security products. The standard consists of several predetermined evaluation assurance levels, each one more stringent than the last. Common Criteria allows vendors to have their products tested against a chosen level by an independent third-party testing laboratory.
