Ivar Jacobson International Announces Support for Microsoft's Visual Studio 2010

IJI's New Process Template: Agile Use cases and Microsoft's Visual Studio 2010 has Reduced Development Time and Costs at Swedish Insurer Lansforsakringar AB

OTTAWA, April 12 /PRNewswire/ - Ivar Jacobson International, a Microsoft Visual Studio Industry Partner, announced today that it will ship Ivar Jacobson International's most widely used Practices with Visual Studio 2010.

The practices combined into a new process template called Agile Use cases provide excellent support for those customers who would like to get the structure from the unified process yet in an agile fashion integrated with the Microsoft development environment. It will give development teams the power to develop new Use cases, report on them and view a complete visual story as their use case develops.

IJI's client Lansforsakringar AB, a Swedish Insurance Company has been using IJI's new Agile Use case process template and Visual Studio since September 2009. Lansforsakringar AB has reported a 20% decrease in development time and costs since deploying the combined solution.
