Master Sommelier and charter member of San Francisco culinary royalty, Evan Goldstein, will be at J Vineyards & Winery on Saturday, May 22, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., signing copies of his new book, "Daring Pairings: A Master Sommelier Matches Distinctive Wines With Recipes From His Favorite Chefs." PIZZA & PINOT NOIR — SATURDAY, JUNE 19, 2010 — 11a.m. to 5 p.m.

J Vineyards & Winery joins forces with Healdsburg-based chef and author, Andrea Mugnaini, for a "Pizza & Pinot Noir" food and wine event at the Visitor Center.  Mugnaini will be employing two portable wood-fired pizza ovens, and along with J Executive Chef Mark E. Caldwell, will create tasty pizzas featuring organic farm fresh vegetables, artisanal cheeses from Bellwether Farms, and O Olive Oil.  All pizzas will be paired with J Vineyards Russian River Valley Estate Pinot Noir wines. Mugnaini will also sign copies of her new book, "The Art of Wood Fired Cooking." For J Wine Club members, the cost is $15 per person; non-Wine Club members, $25 per person. Reservations are not necessary as tickets will only be sold on the day of the event.

JEWELS & J — SATURDAY, JULY 24, 2010 — 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Celebrate the luxurious side of life by matching a J sparkling or J Vineyards varietal wine with artist Dilek Sezen's dazzling, handcrafted jewelry.  Dilek's elegant gemstones jewelry will be showcased with hors d'oeuvres created by J Executive Chef Mark E. Caldwell. Both J sparkling wine and J Vineyards Russian River Valley Estate wines will be paired with Caldwell's culinary creations.  For J Wine Club members, the cost is $10 per person and $25 per person for non-wine club members.
