ADDISON, Texas, Jan. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- J-W Energy Company is pleased to announce that G. Gene Gradick has accepted the position of Chief Executive Officer as well as continuing his current responsibilities as President of J-W Energy Company.

His additional responsibilities will include the management of the day-to-day operations as well as establishing the vision, values, and short and long-term goals of the company as well as being ultimately accountable for the success of the organization.
Gene Gradick joined J-W Energy Company in 1998 as Chief Operating Officer and was promoted to President of J-W Energy Company in January 2005. During his tenure the company has grown from $70 million to over $800 million in gross revenue and from $147.0 million to $1.5 billion in total assets.
Mr. Gradick began his career with Amoco Production Corporation and held various production, reservoir and regulatory supervisory positions. In 1978, he joined Texas Oil and Gas Corporation and was assigned to Delhi Gas Pipeline Corporation where he held various engineering management positions. In 1982, he was transferred to TXO Production Corp. and became Senior Vice President and District Manager of the East Texas Region. In 1989, he returned to Delhi as Executive Vice President of Supply and Operations. In 1997, he became President of Delhi where he was instrumental in securing the successful sale of Delhi to Koch Industries.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A & M University in 1967. He is currently a member of the Dallas Petroleum Club, Southern Gas Association and the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
