Jackson-based behavioral health provider receives $1 million donation from founder and executive director Bishop Ira Combs

Christ Centered Homes provides living assistance, medical care and personal development training across 28 single-family home facilities

Christ Centered Homes is a CARF-accredited nonprofit organization that operates 28 single-family home facilities across Jackson, Lenawee, Hillsdale, Washtenaw, and Calhoun counties. The organization serves more than 160 residents, offering personalized care in a supportive, home-like environment. Each facility typically houses six residents, and the care model ensures that every resident receives individual attention, with a staffing ratio of four staff members per facility. The comprehensive care provided includes access to a physician, nurses, psychologists, social workers, dietitians, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and direct care staff.

He was also involved in the insurance industry, where he became the top sales leader in his region.
