Jackson Hewitt's "5-Point Tax Check-Up" is a free step-by-step guide that preparers use to review key mid-year considerations.  The five areas of focus are:

2. Withholding alignment;
3. Savings tools;
4. Current-year expense planning; and,
5. Completion of a mid-year check-up and year-end tax estimate.

In addition, Jackson Hewitt tax preparers will be available to review taxpayers' year-to-date financial profiles and earnings, as well as review their 2010 tax return to ensure they took advantage of all of the credits and deductions available to them.  Additional information on how to amend a return, how to respond to an IRS or state tax notice, changing a withholding status, and more, will also be available.
