MAHWAH, N.J., May 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Jaguar Land Rover and Asbury Automotive Group announce the grand opening of a new state-of-the-art Jaguar Land Rover centre in St. Louis, Missouri. The grand opening celebration will take place on May 14 and marks the 100^th Jaguar Land Rover facility to open in the United States.

A long standing Land Rover retailer, Asbury Automotive Group will now offer its customers the Jaguar line-up of luxury sedans and sports cars in its brand-new 36,000 square foot facility dedicated to providing a compelling customer sales and service experience. The facility, equipped with state of the art equipment, features a test track and 22 service bays.

In 2003, Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC's retail network began combining the two brands together in one facility to offer customers a full portfolio of both Jaguar and Land Rover luxury vehicles. The grand opening of the St. Louis Jaguar Land Rover facility marks the momentous 100^th dual branded centre to open in the U.S., with additional centres slated to open in the coming weeks.

Asbury Automotive Group's Land Rover St. Louis is one of the oldest Land Rover retailers in the country, having been appointed in 1986. The group was later appointed the Jaguar franchise in 2012. Jaguar Land Rover St. Louis sold 238 Land Rover vehicles in 2013 (up 13% over 2012) and 107 Jaguar vehicles in their first full year of operation, making JLR St. Louis one of the top selling retailers in their market.
