Jim has more than 30 years experience in the oil and gas industry in the Denver area, with executive management and facilities and pipeline project management expertise.

Prior to joining Wood Group Mustang, Claunch was president of Blackeagle Energy Services Company, a firm providing pipeline and facilities engineering, fabrication and construction services. He was also chief executive officer at Mayo Industries, where he helped to significantly grow the company, adding project management and engineering to the company's construction-only capabilities. Claunch holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Regis University in Denver.
