James Gartner Joins AssureCare® in a Key Executive Role

CINCINNATI, May 1, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- AssureCare, the leading provider of healthcare management software and solutions, announced the appointment of James Gartner as its Executive Vice President of Clinical Strategy. Gartner brings more than 30 years of experience and a proven track record of leadership to the company.

Gartner is a seasoned executive with experience leading and managing reputable, multi-billion dollar healthcare organizations. Gartner most recently served as the Senior Vice President of CareSource, the largest managed Medicaid company in the State of Ohio and one of the largest in the United States.   While at CareSource, Jim served in multiple leadership capacities including leading the Pharmacy Strategy and team, Utilization Management, and was involved as part of a team to launch a new care management model served within the provider contracting and life cycle space.  Prior to CareSource, Jim was involved in the PBM industry, consulting, and also owned and operated retail pharmacies and home infusion business.

Gartner graduated with a BS in Pharmacy from Ohio Northern and earned an MBA with Health Care Administration concentration from Cleveland State University.
