Jami D. Guest, FNP-C is recognized by Continental Who's Who

POTEAU, Okla., Feb. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Jami D. Guest, FNP-C is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the field of Nursing in recognition of her role as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Eastpointe Medical Clinic.

Amassing several years of experience as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, in her current capacity Mrs. Guest specializes in all facets of nursing care.  Attributing her success to her ability to "trust in God day in and day out," when asked her advice to newcomers in the industry, Guest emphasizes the importance of "seeking out what God would have you do and shadow experienced nurses."

In her previous years, Guest attained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Health Sciences from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Throughout the course of her education and training, Guest attained an additional Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 2009 from the University Of Oklahoma College Of Nursing in Oklahoma City. In 2015, Guest earned her Master of Science Degree from Walden University.

Throughout her career, Guest has attained several certifications as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Additionally, Guest is certified in Basic Life Support; Advanced Cardiac Life Support; Pediatric Advanced Life Support; EKG certified; Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certified; Neonatal Resuscitation Program certified; and is a Trauma Nurse Specialist.

To further her professional development, Guest is an affiliate of several organizations including Sparks Health System; International Nurses Association; the American Association of Nurse Practitioners; the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and First Baptist Church in Calhoun, Oklahoma.

In recognition of her professional accolades, Guest is an affiliate of Phi Kappa Phi and Sigma Theta Tau.

Married with two sons, when she is not working Guest enjoys horseback riding, all sports and traveling with her family.  

Guest dedicates this recognition in loving memory of her mom, Debi J. Glenn, along with her dad, Harold F. Glenn. Guest also dedicates this recognition to her husband, Chase L. Guest, and "to the Faith in my Lord and Savior."
