Jana and CSA International announce testing agreement for plastic pipe, fittings and assemblies

TORONTO, Feb. 18 /PRNewswire/ - Jana Laboratories Inc., a leading piping systems technology firm, and CSA International, a leading testing and certification organization, today officially announce an agreement allowing Jana to act as an authorized testing facility for CSA International. The agreement recognizes Jana's ability to generate data that can support certification while also authorizing Jana to manage a client's application for the certification of plastic pipe, fittings and assemblies for pressure applications.

The agreement enables Jana to test products to the applicable standards and provide a test report to CSA International. The verification and validation testing conducted by Jana in the product development phase may then also be used to support certification. With the single test report, additional testing for certification following completion of the development process may no longer be necessary for Jana clients.

In addition, Jana has the capability to provide assistance to manufacturers during the certification process, managing the project on their behalf.
