JANA Partners Hires Jordan R. Gershuny To Lead Newly Formed Client Advisory Group

NEW YORK, Dec. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- JANA Partners ("JANA"), a multi-billion dollar, value oriented, event-driven investment management firm, announced today that Jordan R. Gershuny has joined the firm to lead the newly formed Client Advisory Group, which will be responsible for JANA's sales & marketing and investor relations functions.  Under Mr. Gershuny's leadership, the firm will seek to expand its sales & marketing and investor relations capabilities by enhancing JANA's client communications efforts, strengthening client relationships, and building and developing strategic partnerships.

Mr. Gershuny has spent the majority of his career in sales & marketing and leadership roles.  Most recently, he was a Partner at FrontPoint Partners where he served as Global Head of the Client Advisory Group.  Prior to that, Mr. Gershuny was Managing Director and the Head of the Public Pension Coverage Team at Morgan Stanley Investment Management.  At Morgan Stanley, Mr. Gershuny also was a member of the firm's Strategic Client Advisory Group.
