Jane Lee is recognized by Continental Who's Who
LAKE BLUFF, Ill., Jan. 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Jane Lee is recognized by Continental Who's Who as 2017-2018 Realtor of the Year for her excellence in the Real Estate field.
Lee's professional title is President of the Jane Lee Team at RE/MAX, which specializes in Residential Real Estate. She has spent 26 years in the real estate field and utilizes her skills and expertise in luxury home sales and residential properties in the Lake County and Northern Illinois areas.
"I decided to pursue a career in real estate because after graduating from college, I decided that I didn't want to work for anyone else," Lee said. "I thought real estate would be a great way for me to empower myself and create my own business."
Immediately following graduation from college, Lee spent the first ten years of her career with RE/MAX, working as a buyer's agent and developing a thorough understanding of the buyer's side of the deal.
Today, Lee is a powerful listing agent, leading a team of 18 highly productive sales agents and industry experts, along with several licensed office staff and other support personnel. Through her hard work and dedication to her clients, Lee has emerged as one of the most successful real estate professionals in the United States and around the world, ranking among the top three percent in her field.

In spite of the above statistics in real estate, Lee has been inducted into the RE/MAX Diamond Club, has been named among the 100 Most Influential Real Estate Agents by Real Estate Executive Magazine, has received the Luminary of Distinction Award and has also been named "Best in Business in the Real Estate Category" by the Small Business Commerce Association since 2009. She is currently ranked number one in both Northern Illinois and in the Lake County area, number three in Chicagoland, number 12 nationwide and number 24 worldwide for sales. She closed over $162 million in sales and sold 492 homes for the year 2016, and her yearly numbers of homes sold topped at 505 in 2015.
Lee earned her Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Fuzhou University in China. She then went on to complete her Master's degree in Computer Science from Loyola University in Chicago. She also holds several real estate designations, as a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, a Certified Residential Specialist, a Certified Investor Agent Specialist, a Relocation Specialist and International Realtor, to name a few.
To further her professional development, Lee is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Illinois Association of Realtors, the Northwest Association of Realtors and of Multiple Listings Service.
