JAS Wireless Offers Innovative Wireless Security and Management Plan
Cost for IBM Software Offset by Savings in Wireless Bills
NEW CITY, N.Y., July 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- JAS Wireless, a leader in wireless cost reduction, has introduced an innovative new program that provides IBM's high-quality MaaS360 mobile device management and security at no additional or minimal cost.
In the new program, called Perfect Together, clients receive IBM's award-winning MaaS360 mobility management and security system with the cost offset by JAS's unparalleled ability to reduce monthly wireless charges.
"JAS can reduce customer wireless charges by an average of 25 to 33 percent monthly," says Joseph Allen, president of JAS. "For companies with a minimum of 25 units, the cost savings in our dual program will usually cover the full cost for the IBM MaaS360 device management and security software."
JAS is offering a three-month free price guarantee. If they can't save enough money to cover the expense of the basic IBM program or 50% of the more compete Professional Bundle they will provide the first three months of security free.
The IBM MaaS360 is the only MDM Solution that is Fed Ramp certified and allowed to be used by the Federal government. In 2013, it was the leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant, Champion in Infotech MDM Vendor Leadership, and winner of the Codie Award for best mobile device management.
"With the increase in hacking and other invasions of mobile devices, it is imperative that companies obtain top quality security software such as that offered by IBM's MaaS360 through JAS Wireless," says Allen.
"The easiest way to penetrate a company network is through smart phones and other wireless devices," Allen says. "Once inside even one phone, the hacker can gain access to the entire computer network. With the IBM software, clients can rest assured they have secure web browsing, email and document sharing."
The IBM cloud-based software provides security to prevent viruses, including detection and remediation of malware, as well as attacks by hackers and protection from lost or stolen devices with the ability to remotely wipe and lock devices.
The software can simultaneously be deployed in all company mobile devices. Company administrators and/or JAS can set policy and compliance enforcements in areas such as encryption, passcode settings, application and website restrictions and data use. The software can also remotely configure email and wifi settings.
IBM's MaaS360 permits a company to push out an app while monitoring and restricting other apps, provide GPS capabilities to locate employees and obtain location history. It can also easily track data use.
Corporate privacy is maintained as the system does not see into the applications and information on the devices.
The user-friendly cloud-based system is supported by JAS's dedicated service team and backed by IBM technical support.
