"I am honored to step into my new role as President of the Springfield, Missouri chapter of SCORE," said Graf. "I'm now in a more influential position to further support our Springfield community and the organizations that have helped me grow as a person and as an entrepreneur."

The Springfield, Missouri chapter of SCORE was founded in 1974 and now has more than 30 volunteers. Springfield, Missouri SCORE received a Chapter Growth Award for the 2011/2012 fiscal year, one of only eight chapters nationwide (out of 340+) that was honored for exceptional growth. Graf knows he has big shoes to fill as the new chapter president, as the Springfield, Missouri chapter also received a Platinum Award for the last Fiscal year (2012/2013) – the highest performance-based award any SCORE chapter can achieve within the organization.

Graf and his business partners are committed to supporting small business success and cultivating entrepreneurship – a shared value most recently highlighted by the launch of their new crowdfunding platform called CrowdIt (http://www.crowdit.com/home/about). "The reasons most entrepreneurs and small businesses fail is two-fold: lack of experience and lack of funding," explained Graf. "Our new crowdfunding model, along with organizations like SCORE, can help alleviate these challenges with mentorship opportunities, free business tools and resources and invaluable networking opportunities."
