SAN ANTONIO, April 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- South Texas Money Management, Ltd. announced that Jeanie Wyatt, CFA, CEO & Chief Investment Officer, has been named to the list of Top 10 Women-Owned RIAs by wealthmanagement.com. Ms. Wyatt is the only Texan to make the prestigious list.
Wealthmanagement.com's Top Women-Owned RIAs list was assembled using data from SEC filings and Meridian-IQ. The advisors are ranked by their firm's total assets under management. Additionally, the women have at least some individual clients for whom they do financial planning and have no more than 50 percent institutional clients. Finally, none of the RIAs on the list operates a broker/dealer or a bank.
"We are very proud to see Jeanie at the top of this list," said Leah Bennett, CFA, CIC and Co-Chief Investment Officer at South Texas Money Management. "Her industry talent and the vision that she has executed through her leadership of our firm makes her an impeccable role model for women in our business."
Bennett added, "As a woman in a largely male-dominated industry, I appreciate the discipline, hard work, and conviction it has taken for Jeanie to rise to the top in this field. It's an honor to be on her team."
