Jeffrey Dinkin Joins Stradling as Shareholder in Employment Law Practice

SANTA BARBARA, Calif., May 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth, P.C. announced today that Jeffrey A. Dinkin has joined the firm as a Shareholder, in its Santa Barbara office. Mr. Dinkin will continue to focus his practice on representing management in all aspects of labor and employment law.

Mr. Dinkin's practice includes both private and public sector labor relations, where he represents employers from startup companies developing personnel policies and employee handbooks to serving the needs of established companies as they expand into California. Mr. Dinkin has litigated labor, employment, and discrimination cases, as well as wage and hour class actions, in state and federal courts at both trial and appellate levels. He has handled contractual and disciplinary matters in administrative proceedings before arbitrators and governmental agencies and brings over 20 years experience in negotiating collective bargaining agreements.

Mr. Dinkin earned his J.D. from University of California, Hastings College of Law and his B.A. from University of California, Berkeley. Bar admissions include the State of California and Nevada. 

He is a member of the National Human Resources Association, Ventura Chapter where he previously served on the board. He is also an active member and speaker for the Santa Barbara Human Resources Association and will be presenting a 2013 employment law update at the Canary Hotel located at 31 W. Carrillo Street in Santa Barbara, on Thursday, May 30^th at 7:30AM. 

Mr. Dinkin joins Stradling from Sheppard Mullin where he was a partner in the firm's Santa Barbara office.
