Scott Mueller takes leadership role during important time for Jelmar brand

CHICAGO, July 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Jelmar, a respected leader in the cleaning products industry most notably known for its CLR® and Tarn-X® products, today announced the hiring of Scott Mueller as new Chief Revenue Officer.

In his new role, Mueller will lead all Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Product Development programs on behalf of Jelmar. Based out of the company's headquarters in Skokie IL, Mueller will be reporting directly to the CEO and President of Jelmar, Alison Gutterman.

In his previous position, Mueller served as the Director of Marketing at Smalley Steel Ring, the global leader in precision ring and spring manufacturing and development. While there, he led the global rebranding program, which included the development of an international distribution program. Mueller's experience also includes helping lead a variety of consumer programs in the pet channel, as well as household/residential construction.

Jelmar recently announced the rebranding of its entire CLR® product line in March 2016. Products featuring the new look are currently on shelves at major retailers and newly developed advertisements have been rolled out. Mueller will play a critical role in ensuring Jelmar's rebranding efforts hit the mark with the brand's target consumers, as well as look for opportunities to capture the attention of new audiences.
