Jenn-Air Adds New 30-inch Range To Induction Offerings

BENTON HARBOR, Mich., July 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Those who appreciate the true responsiveness of induction cooking technology now have a new option with the addition of a 30-inch Jenn-Air induction range added to the brand's growing line of high-end appliances.   Featuring a full-depth design that easily installs seamlessly into a standard opening, the new induction range offers increased oven baking capacity and a host of luxury details, from soft-close oven doors to telescoping glide racks.

Offering the responsiveness of induction technology on the cooktop, the induction range features four powerful elements including an 11-inch, 3,600-Watt element; two 7-inch, 2,500-Watt elements; a 6-inch 1,800-Watt element; and an induction bridge element that creates a larger cooking area by combining two elements.  A Sensor Boil option selects the optimal power level to quickly bring water to a boil while also helping to minimize the possibility of boiling over.  A beep indicates when water has come to a boil, and power is then adjusted to appropriately lower the temperature setting.  A range of heat level settings from Performance Boost, which provides quick heating to sear your favorite steak, to Keep Warm™ that offers further control over simmering and melting.

Combined oven and baking drawer capacity on these latest models is a generous 7.1 Cu. Ft.  Offering the convenience of using different techniques to cook different dishes simultaneously, the baking drawers¸ can also be used to keep food warm, proof bread and warm plates prior to serving.  Powerful oven elements include a 3,600-Watt Hidden Bake Element; a 4,000-Watt Broil Element; and a 3,200 True Convection Element that distributes heated air throughout the oven cavity for temperature consistency.

Additional features found on the ovens include an Auto Convection Conversion that takes the guesswork out of converting conventional cook times to the appropriate convection settings.  A Sabbath Mode allows the oven to be used when observing the Sabbath or other religious holidays. Other thoughtful features include soft, auto-close oven doors and easily maneuverable telescoping glide racks for easy access when removing or checking on dishes in progress.
