Jenn-Air Gives Under Counter Refrigeration The Luxury Treatment

BENTON HARBOR, Mich., Aug. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The newest collection of high-end under counter refrigeration appliances from Jenn-Air offers a range of options for keeping favorite beverages and ingredients close at hand both in the kitchen and beyond.  Latest offerings include an under counter refrigerator model with a glass door option, wine cellars, beverage centers and double refrigerator drawers.

Wine cellars, beverage centers and under counter refrigerators all feature the brand's innovative multi-pivot, articulating door hinge allowing for zero clearance and maximum convergence.   This thoughtful hinge design makes it possible for installation that's flush with the cabinet's front and adjacent surfaces resulting in seamless integration of the refrigeration into its surroundings.   In addition, the articulating hinge design allows for maximum access to contents while also helping the door swing closed to a secure seal. 

Dual zone temperature systems found throughout the line provide independent temperature zones for optimal storage of a variety of wines and ingredients in ideal climates.  Two fans and two electronic sensors combined with an insulated separator help maintain distinct temperatures on the top and bottom chambers.  

Additional luxury features found in this latest collection include soft, auto-close doors that slowly draw the door to a fully closed position when the door swing reaches approximately 20 degrees.  This helps protect wines and other sensitive ingredients from unwanted temperature changes by preventing doors from being left ajar.  Ultra-glide soft, auto-close racks with beechwood tines found on the wine cellars and beverage centers limit vibration and allow for smooth operation even when fully loaded.

Refrigerator drawer models feature soft, auto-close drawers that are fully-extendable for easy access to ingredients.   Other thoughtful features on these latest models include a Max Cool option that reduces internal temperatures to the lowest setting for 24 hours to help maintain temperatures during heavy use and a Door Open Alarm that signals if the door remains open more than 10 minutes.   A Sabbath Mode allows the doors to be opened or closed during the Sabbath or other religious holidays without directly turning on or off any lights, digital readouts, solenoids, fans, valves, compressor, icons, tones or alarms.

Also found throughout the new collection are light-guided electronic controls with temperature presets that provide both concealed design and intuitive response for easy temperature adjustment.  

Jenn-Air 24" Under Counter Refrigerators

Jenn-Air latest under counter refrigerator offerings now include a model with a glass door option.   Featuring a UV-Resistant Thermal Glass Door and 5.1 Cu. Ft. of capacity, it provides an alternative to a stainless steel door while also allowing for easy identification when placed next to a dishwasher.  All under counter refrigerator models feature four temperature presets to handle a range of storage needs including Deli, Beverage, Assorted and Meat. Interior LED lighting combined with Elegance Shelving (2 Adjustable, 1 Fixed) that appears to float within the refrigerator help to enhance interior visibility.  Models with solid doors feature two full-width door bins for additional storage options.  

Jenn-Air 24" Under Counter Wine Cellars and Beverage Centers

Wine cellars feature a 46-bottle capacity with temperature ranges of 42° F to 54° F on the top chamber and 42° F to 64° F on the bottom chamber.   Beverage centers hold up to 14 bottles and feature Elegance Shelving (1 Adjustable, 1 Fixed) for storing a range of ingredients and other beverages.   Temperature ranges on the beverage centers are 33° F to 40° F on the top chamber and 42° F to 64° F on the bottom chamber. 

Temperature preset options on the wine cellars include Assorted, White Wine, Champagne, and Sweet Wine in the Upper Zone.   Presets in the lower zone include Red Wine, White Wine, Champagne and Sweet Wine.   Beverage center temperature presets include Beverage and Party in the Upper Zone and Red Wine, White Wine, Champagne and Sweet Wine options in the Lower Zone   Additional features include an Auto Display Light that is motion activated to easily find stored items, UV-resistant thermal glass doors and automatic defrost.  

Jenn-Air Double-Refrigerator and Refrigerator/Freezer Drawers

Offering 4.7 Cu. Ft. of total capacity (2.2 Cu. Ft. in upper drawer and 2.5 Cu. Ft. in the lower drawer), Jenn-Air double-refrigerator and refrigerator/freezer drawer models feature fully extendable soft-close drawers that provide easy access to all items whether stored in the front or very back of the drawers.   Four temperature Preset options on refrigerator drawers include Produce, Assorted, Beverage and Meat.   Temperature presets on the freezer drawer include Soft Serve, Spirits, Assorted and Deep Freeze.  The freezer features an automatic ice maker along with a water filter with a replace filter indicator. 

Other features found in all models include silver metal interiors and drawer dividers for easy organization.

All under counter models are available in Euro-Style stainless featuring a slightly curved stainless steel handle or with a Custom Overlay Design to accept a custom panel and handle.  For a more commercial look, additional options include a Pro-Style® or Classic Stainless Tubular Handle kit that is available as an optional accessory.
