Annual Veterans Day release rounds out the distillery's 10th anniversary year with a new charitable collaboration benefiting K9s For Warriors.
SHELBYVILLE, Ky., Nov. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Jeptha Creed, the award-winning Kentucky craft distillery founded by mother-daughter duo Joyce and Autumn Nethery, proudly announces the fifth release of its Red, White & Blue Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Continuing its annual tradition of paying tribute to those who have served in the U.S. military, this year's edition introduces a new charitable collaboration with K9s For Warriors. A portion of proceeds will benefit the nonprofit organization's mission in saving lives at both ends of the leash by primarily rescuing dogs and pairing them with Veterans in need.
Available beginning November 7, the Red, White & Blue Bourbon Batch 5 holds special significance as Jeptha Creed celebrates its 10th anniversary. Since opening its doors on Veterans Day in 2016, the distillery has maintained a strong connection to the occasion, making this year's release a meaningful tribute to a decade of craftsmanship, community, and gratitude.
Brilliant orange-brown amber in appearance, this whiskey offers a complex nose of red berry fruits, bread pudding, nutmeg, and clove. The palate is rich and buttery, unfolding layers of caramel, toasted nuts, dried fruit, toffee, and a hint of cinnamon. It concludes with a full, lingering finish of dried fruit, sweet oak, and warm baking spices.
"Veterans Day has always held a significant place in our journey, as it's the day we first opened our doors ten years ago," says Joyce Nethery, Master Distiller and CEO of Jeptha Creed Distillery. "With our fifth Red, White & Blue release, we're proud to continue a tradition that allows us to give back to those who have served our country. Collaborating with K9s For Warriors makes this year's release especially meaningful, as we support an organization making a tangible difference in veterans' lives."
The collaboration also reflects Jeptha Creed's longstanding appreciation for animals and their connection to the community. During the distillery's construction, the team rescued and adopted four cats found on the property. Affectionately known for keeping watch over the bourbon barrels during their nightly patrols, the cats have since become beloved members of the Jeptha Creed family, earning the affection of visitors and a following on social media.
Founded 15 years ago in 2011, K9s For Warriors is determined to end Veteran suicide by pairing trained Service Dogs to military Veterans nationwide suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury (TBI) and/or military sexual trauma (MST). The nonprofit primarily rescues and trains dogs to become service animals, pairing them at no financial cost to Veterans with the invisible wounds of war. Through this, the organization is also dedicated to raising awareness of Veterans' mental health and driving policy-level reform.
"We've seen firsthand the extraordinary impact a Service Dog can have on a Veteran's life," says Daniel Bean, CEO of K9s For Warriors. "Collaborations with Jeptha Creed help us continue providing these life-changing bonds to Veterans in need, while giving rescue dogs a renewed sense of purpose. We're grateful for their commitment to honoring those who have served and helping advance our mission of saving lives at both ends of the leash."
In celebration of the release, Jeptha Creed Distillery will host a Veterans Day tribute on November 7, featuring a color guard ceremony, guest speakers, bottle signings, light appetizers, and more. For more information, visit https://jepthacreed.com/event/red-white-blue-bourbon-batch-5-release/.
