Jersey Shore Is 'Back Inn Business' With Discounts In Honor Of Sandy Anniversary

TRENTON, N.J., Sept. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Stronger than the Storm, a comprehensive consumer campaign developed to raise awareness of the Jersey Shore's recovery, is partnering with The Preferred Inns of New Jersey's Bed and Breakfast Association to introduce the 'Back Inn Business' campaign this October. As a nod to the upcoming one-year-anniversary of Hurricane Sandy, 26 Inns are offering a special rate saving travelers 10 percent on their fall getaways to the shore for the month of October.

"Even though a season change is at hand, the Shore is open and gorgeous in the fall," said Shannon Eis, spokesperson for the Stronger than the Storm. "During such a historic time, we want travelers to know that they can come explore the many fall festivals, parks and walking trails, culinary experiences or just for a fun weekend getaway."

While the weather is still welcoming and Jersey foliage is in full effect for leaf peeping, 'Back Inn Business' will provide travelers with an affordable opportunity to enjoy the Garden State.

"This initiative is especially close to our hearts as we reflect on how far the inns and the state as a whole, have come over the past year," said Esther Cohen, board member with The Preferred Inns of New Jersey Bed & Breakfast Association. "'Back Inn Business' and our partnership with STTS Deals provides travelers with a cost-effective opportunity to visit New Jersey."

Travelers should call the bed and breakfasts directly and mention "Back Inn Business" to make reservations as well as visit each inn's website for any applicable restrictions. This promotion is subject to availability Sunday through Thursday and not valid for Columbus Day weekend.
