WASHINGTON, Aug. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading data visualization firm JESS3 continues to execute its growth strategy by deepening its commitments to clients like Intel and Nike and tapping into regional talent in five major U.S. cities.
"Our expansion marks a pivotal moment for the entire industry," said JESS3 President and Co-Founder Leslie Bradshaw. "We are now one of the largest agencies run by digital natives. We don't retrofit digital and social into our client work, our operations or our management style. Our new offices add heft to this promise."
Fifteen employees are officially setting up shop as the company sweeps through five major regions, including:
JESS3 PDX (Portland, Ore.)
The Portland office will be led by JESS3's Director of Strategy, Brad Cohen. In addition to Cohen, JESS3 has digital producers in the region and is actively recruiting for open strategy, creative and development positions.
JESS3's investment in Portland reflects their deep commitment to Intel's Social Media Center of Excellence and to multiple divisions of Nike, including NIKEiD where they serve as their Social Agency of Record.
JESS3 OKC (Oklahoma City, Okla.)
The Midwest is considered the backbone of JESS3, where the company's Vice President of Production, Becca Colbaugh, leads the way.
"Managing from the heartland offers me a centered perspective," Colbaugh said. "Oklahomans get down to business, it's nothing but hard work and focus around here. Heading into my fifth year of service at JESS3, it's a major milestone for me to help the company open doors."
JESS3 DEN (Denver, Colo.)
JESS3's presence in Denver will be headed up by newly minted Vice President of Client Strategy, Lauren Cook. In addition to quick access to west coast clients and offices, JESS3 is eager to tap into the innovation, agency prowess and talent the Denver and Boulder areas offer.
JESS3 LA (Los Angeles, Calif.)
As the center of the universe when it comes to motion pictures, Los Angeles was the only place to cultivate JESS3's motion studio, spearheaded by Creative Director Mark Kulakoff. In addition to producing a number of videos for Google including a stop motion animation piece, JESS3 has launched some of the web's most popular videos, including the State of the Internet and the State of Wikipedia. Multiple productions are underway for launch in early fall 2011.
JESS3 FL (Orlando, Fla.)
Orlando will serve as JESS3's new engineering hub, with four key additions to the team: Trey Long will fill the newly created Director of Engineering role and George Vilches, James Diss and Travis Terry will bring their decades of experience as Senior Software Engineers. JESS3's Orlando engineering team hails from AOL's Blogsmith team and will be leading product strategy and development for the DC-based agency.
Now with six U.S. locations and a satellite office in Bristol, UK, the firm is sharpening its focus on product development and a number of powerhouse launches and partnerships for 2012.
Headquartered in Washington, D.C., JESS3 is a creative interactive agency that specializes in social media and data visualization. JESS3 continues to push the limits of what creativity and storytelling mean, providing services that range from UI / UX, animation and social media strategy to developing large-scale installations, brand strategies and infographics. In addition to working with top tier brands like Google, Nike, Intel, MTV, Facebook and NASA, JESS3 also has a dedicated Labs division, which funds and launches its own products.
