JetBlue to Waive Change Fees and Fare Differences to Assist Customers Affected by Tropical Storm Maria

- Customers booked prior to Friday, September 9 to/from select cities in the Caribbean may rebook through either Wednesday, September 14 or Thursday, September 15 -

NEW YORK, Sept. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Due to the expected impact of Tropical Storm Maria, JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq: JBLU) will waive change fees and fare increases to allow Customers that booked travel prior to Friday, Sept. 9, 2011 to or from select cities in the Caribbean to voluntarily rebook their travel through either Wednesday, Sept. 14 or Thursday, Sept. 15, 2011.  


Eligible cities include:

Rebook through September 14

Rebook through September 15

Puerto Rico (SJU, BQN, PSE)

  • Original travel dates: Sept. 10-11

Dominican Republic (STI, SDQ, POP, PUJ)

  • Original travel dates: Sept. 10-11

St. Maarten (SXM)

  • Original travel dates: Sept. 10-11

Turks & Caicos (PLS)

  • Original travel dates: Sept. 12-13

Customers may rebook their flights for travel through the dates indicated above by calling 1-800-JETBLUE (538-2583), if located in the Dominican Republic, 1-801-365-2583, prior to the departure time of their originally scheduled flight.  Customers with cancelled flights may also opt for a refund to the original form of payment by calling 1-800-JETBLUE (538-2583).  Original travel must have been booked on or before the original booking date noted above.
