Jewett-Cameron Company Issues an Important Voluntary Product Safety Advisory on Playtime Pals Kids Pop-Up Tent
NORTH PLAINS, Ore., Dec. 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Jewett-Cameron Company, manufacturer of Playtime Pals Kids Pop-Up Tents sold at The Home Depot®, has identified that the fiberglass support rods may break on the tents, which could result in the rod having a sharp edge or splinters.
There have been two reports of the issue occurring, neither with serious injury.
The products were sold in The Home Depot stores between Nov. 8 and Nov. 28.

Jewett-Cameron Company is advising that customers not use the tent and return the product to The Home Depot stores for a full refund or store credit. Please bring your purchase receipt for full refund, if no receipt is available, The Home Depot store will need the model number and UPC code to provide store credit. Jewett-Cameron Company has reported this matter to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and will provide additional information as soon as it is available.
