JGC America, Inc. Selects Intergraph® Solutions to Provide Application Software and Cloud Computing Services

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., June 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- JGC America, Inc., a growing engineering, procurement and construction management firm based in Houston, Texas, and a subsidiary of JGC Corporation of Japan, has entered into a seven-year agreement to use Intergraph's SmartPlant Enterprise Engineering & Design Solution Suite hosted in Intergraph^® SmartPlant^® Cloud as the computing infrastructure for its American office.

For its new office JGC sought a secure, more efficient way to collaborate and share project data using SmartPlant software with its parent company, affiliates and other engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firms. It also required a flexible and scalable information technology infrastructure to manage costs to meet changing business conditions.

SmartPlant Cloud is Intergraph's engineering ecosystem offering SmartPlant applications and third-party applications supported by technical and business operations service.
