Jingdong Launches JDMEngine Cloud Service to Support Mobile App Developers

BEIJING, July 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Jingdong ("JD.com" or the "Company"), China's leading direct B2C e-commerce company, today announced that it has launched a new cloud-based solution, JDMEngine, to help mobile app developers improve their productivity. As a critical component of Jingdong's mobile application development services strategy, JDMEngine expands on the Company's existing cloud-based ecosystem that already includes Jingdong Open Service ("JOS"), JDHosting, JDEngine and JDZone. • Cloud Analysis helps developers comprehensively analyze and explore user data on a real-time basis;

• URL Abbreviation makes it easier to share links by generating a shortened URL based on the longer original using a series of algorithms.

Jingdong launched JOS in May 2012, and three additional cloud services in June 2013. These include: JDHosting, a hosting service platform for vendors; JDEngine, a web application development and operation platform; and JDZone, an online developer community.
