JMATEK North America Announces New Honeywell Portable Dehumidifiers

MAHWAH, N.J., March 18, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- JMATEK North America, LLC, today announced the addition of three new portable residential dehumidifiers to its product portfolio. The Honeywell branded dehumidifiers are available in three models, the DH45W, DH50W and DH70W.

In addition to creating a more comfortable home environment, a dehumidifier reduces the level of moisture in the home to help limit the growth of mold and mildew, which thrive in high-humidity environments. In fact, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends the use of dehumidifiers to slow mold growth by keeping humidity levels at less than 50 percent, especially during humid months.

The Honeywell DH45W, DH50W and DH70W Dehumidifiers include detachable water tanks with full tank alert and automatic shut-off; smart digital humidistat controls that sense room humidity and activate dehumidification as needed to maintain pre-set humidity levels; full-feature digital controls with electronic display; and an operating temperature as low as 41°F (5°C). Each model is ENERGY STAR-certified and can remove up to 45, 50 or 70 pints of water per 24 hours, respectively.
