With over twenty-five national locations in six areas of study, Brown Mackie College has been preparing students for bright futures for over a century. The six career-oriented programs are: legal studies, construction trades, early childhood education, veterinary technology, business and technology, and health and wellness.
A member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and the Kansas Occupational Therapy Association, Joan has nearly three decades of experience in occupational therapy. In her current position, she is responsible for the oversight of the occupational therapy program, as well as program design and development.
Moreover, Joan was recognized as a VIP Woman of The Year by the National Association of Professional Women. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family. Joan donates her charity to the MS Society and various cancer organizations. Her advice to those entering the industry is to "be open minded and know you have endless opportunities in occupational therapy."
Joan earned her Master of Business Administration from Walden University, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from St. Catherine's University.
