John Capaldi Joins Tennr as Chief Revenue Officer as Demand Grows for Patient Orchestration Platform

Enterprise go-to-market veterans Dean Sutherland and Matt Stephens also join to scale Tennr's sales organization

NEW YORK, Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Tennr, the company eliminating patient care delays across the US by helping healthcare providers manage payer requirements, remove operational bottlenecks, and give every stakeholder visibility into the patient journey, today announced the appointment of a new sales leadership team: John Capaldi as Chief Revenue Officer, Dean Sutherland as VP of Sales Transformation, and Matt Stephens as SVP of Customer Experience and Value Engineering. Together, they bring more than seven decades of enterprise technology go-to-market experience to Tennr as the company scales to meet accelerating demand across the healthcare industry.

The additions follow a period of rapid growth for Tennr, which has raised $162 million from investors including IVP, Andreessen Horowitz, Lightspeed, GV, and ICONIQ, and earlier this year added former Cleveland Clinic and Google executive Dr. William H. Morris as Chief Medical Officer.

Capaldi joins Tennr with more than 25 years of experience in the enterprise technology industry, where he has held leadership roles at both public and private hyper-growth companies. He most recently served as Chief Revenue Officer at Altana, where he led global go-to-market sales strategy, and before that as CRO at Zip, where he led the go-to-market function.

Sutherland brings more than 25 years of enterprise software experience as a seller, sales leader, and enablement executive. He most recently led Sales Transformation and Enablement at Redwood Software. At Tennr, he will focus on building a scalable, high-performing sales organization—strengthening the sales process, developing sellers and leaders, and creating the discipline and consistency needed to support the company's next phase of growth.

Stephens joins Tennr from Celonis, where he was SVP of Value Engineering CoE and Customer Programs, leading a global value engineering organization. Prior to Celonis, he spent over a decade at Qlik, where he served as Director of Healthcare Solution Architects and later ran alliances, partner enablement, and OEM. Stephens began his career on the technical side of enterprise data and analytics, and his experience spans solution and value engineering, direct sales, customer programs, and ecosystem teams at hyper-growth technology companies.
