John R. Washburn Celebrates 40 Years of Dedication to Medical and Pharmaceutical Industries

A native of Virginia, Mr. Washburn pursued formal education at the University of Richmond, Williams College, and the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Early in his career, he worked as an assistant manager with the Liberty Loan Corporation in Richmond before transitioning to a loan interviewer role with Central Fidelity Bank. Recognized for his leadership potential, Mr. Washburn went on to serve as a regional credit and sales supervisor with Moore's Building Supplies, Inc., as a corporate credit manager with Owens & Minor, Inc., and as an investment consultant with JA-GO Enterprises. From 1996 to 2005, he shared his industry expertise as the owner and principal agent of the Washburn Insurance and Financial Services Group.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Washburn currently serves as a member of the Greenwoods State Bank Pharmacy Advisory Board and the DaneVest Pharmacy Advisory Board. In these positions, he lends his guidance as a distinguished business owner and consultant with more than 40 years of experience in the medical and pharmaceutical industries. Mr. Washburn recently celebrated two decades as the executive senior vice president of E-Com Consulting, Inc. A man of many talents, he has also served as the director of the National Association of Credit Management since 1983. Mr. Washburn was awarded an Appreciation Certificate for Outstanding Service as the former president of the Central Virginia Section of the organization.
