John Walsh, Global Client Service Partner, Banking and Capital Markets at Ernst & Young LLP, named to Partnership with Children Board of Directors

Distinguished leader in global finance strengthens PWC's commitment to student mental health and wellness

NEW YORK, Oct. 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Partnership with Children (PWC), the 117-year-old nonprofit supporting the mental health and wellness of schoolchildren across New York, has named John Walsh, Global Client Service Partner at Ernst & Young LLP (EY), as its newest Board Member. Walsh brings more than three decades of experience in financial services, along with a deep commitment to strengthening communities and empowering young people.

Walsh has been engaged with PWC prior to joining the Board, actively supporting the organization's mission through EY's longstanding corporate partnership. EY and its employees have contributed to PWC initiatives that provide trauma-informed counseling, community-based programming, and healing-based arts education to thousands of New York City children and families each year.

At EY, Walsh serves as Global Client Service Partner for a leading multinational investment bank and financial services company. He previously held senior leadership roles as EY Americas Banking and Capital Markets Leader and EY Global Financial Services Risk Management Leader. With extensive knowledge of front, middle, and back-office processes for global capital markets and consumer banking clients, Walsh has been a trusted advisor helping organizations navigate complex challenges.

A CPA and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Walsh earned his BS in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his MBA from Columbia Business School. Beyond his professional achievements, he is active in his local community, having volunteered as coach for his daughters' basketball and soccer teams, and stays active with running, golf, and traveling with his family.
