Maritza Morales, Practice Leader-Wireless, 3G & 4G at Pyramid, will present a keynote address,"Vision on the Evolution of Mobile Broadband in America," where she will provide a preview of what we can expect in the Mobile Broadband and LTE space in the next few years, the key growth and success drivers and the role of the mobile broadband ecosystem in the development of the region's smart cities. The keynote address will be held at 9am on Thursday, August 29. Maritza will participate alongside senior executives from key Colombia operators in the panel "Smart Cities: Why operators are key players in the development of smart cities?," which will be moderated by Juan Diego Mora, President of Accenture, on August 29 at 4pm.

Daniele Tricarico, Analyst for Latin America at Pyramid Research, will moderate the panel "Deployment of mobile service networks: A Challenge of coverage, quality and pricing in a 4G environment." The CEOs of the country's leading communications companies – Claro, Movistar, UNE, DirecTV and Avantel – will come together to discuss the opportunities and challenges that 4G/LTE brings. They will share their visions on future applications for consumers, enterprises and government. The panelists will also look at how LTE services have been positioned internationally, and will explore the specific challenges and opportunities associated with extending LTE coverage and offering commercial 4G services in Colombia. This panel will take place at 11am on Thursday, August 29.

At Pyramid Daniele is part of the emerging markets team, where he conducts research on the Latin American telecom and media industries. With seven years' experience in the telecom industry, Daniele drives forward research and consulting engagements on operator strategies and business models for online content, IPTV, multiscreen and over-the-top (OTT) video services, as well as OTT voice and messaging. Daniel Ramos, Senior Consultant and Practice Leader of Pyramid Research's Cloud and Enterprise practice, will present at VIII International Workshop on Regulation CRC on August 27, co-located at ANDICOM 2013.
