Jones Lang LaSalle and Beaumont Hospitals form Partnership to Service 8.5-Million-Square-Foot Health Care Facility and Real Estate Portfolio

CHICAGO and DETROIT, Jan. 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Jones Lang LaSalle today announced the formation of a new integrated services partnership with Beaumont Hospitals to create a new standard in health care real estate, facilities and equipment services delivery. Through the partnership agreement, Jones Lang LaSalle at Beaumont Hospitals will provide all of Beaumont's health care facility services including facility management, construction program management, utility operations, energy and sustainability services, property management, biomedical equipment maintenance and service management, lease administration, portfolio strategy and real estate transaction services.

Previously, these services were provided by an entity wholly owned by Beaumont called Beaumont Services Company (BSC).

The partnership is designed to deliver cost savings and operational improvements that enhance quality, service and efficiency. It will also allow Beaumont to expand its focus on its core business of patient care.

Ted Spicer of Jones Lang LaSalle and Jim Safran from BSC will lead service operations and implementation for the new venture. It will launch joint service delivery in the first quarter 2011.
