Jones Walker Adds International Litigation and Arbitration Attorney Jason Emert to Corporate Compliance and White Collar Defense Team

NEW ORLEANS, Feb. 26, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Jones Walker LLP is pleased to welcome Jason Emert as special counsel in the Litigation Practice Group and a member of the corporate compliance and white collar defense team in the Washington, DC, office.

Jason is an experienced litigator who concentrates his practice on international litigation and arbitration, economic sanctions, national security, foreign relations, election law, and government relations. He is highly regarded for his knowledge of and experience in handling complex, high-profile issues, including US sanctions, international business and trade disputes, and foreign relations law.

He has represented and advised numerous global clients facing the Permanent Court of Arbitration, the International Chamber of Commerce Court of International Arbitration, and the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes, among other dispute-resolution forums. Similarly, Jason is a listed arbitrator at the Arbitration Center at the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo.

In addition to his work in private practice, Jason is a reserve officer in the US Air Force, where he serves as the deputy staff judge advocate for the 134th Air Refueling Wing in the Tennessee Air National Guard.
