Jordan's Furniture Announces The Biggest Indoor Adventure Ropes Course For The New Haven Store
NEW HAVEN, Conn., Oct. 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- At a press conference this morning on the construction site of their soon-to-open New Haven store, Jordan's Furniture's President/CEO Eliot Tatelman announced the entertainment attraction slated for this sixth location.
"Be prepared to be wowed!" said Tatelman. "You'll want to see IT. Climb IT. Ride IT. Experience IT. Just don't miss IT because you won't believe IT!"
The "IT" that Tatelman is referring to is the IT Adventure Ropes Course, currently under construction inside the company's first Connecticut store. It includes two (2) 60-feet high ropes courses that incorporate four separate levels and over 100 activities like zig zag swinging beams, crisscross angle rope ladders, cargo nets, bridges, plank-walking, a cat walk and a 48-feet high free fall jump. There will be four (4) 200-feet long zip lines that are 48-feet high…the longest SkyRails ever made! Patrons will be able to zip over the 1,000-nozzle water show with state of the art lights, sound and music, choreographed to 45-feet high water. The light and sound will be created by Clair Solutions, the company that designed Radio City Music Hall, The Grand Ol Opry and the Michael Jackson Tour.
In addition to the two ropes courses, there will four (4) separate activities – Leap of Faith (climb to the top of the pole and jump), Astroball (stacked upon each other for a challenging climb), Stairway to Heaven (walk across wobbly poles getting higher and higher), and Twister (double sided, twisted structure to climb to the top).
And for younger participants, there will be a smaller version of the full-size ropes course for children under 48" tall. Parents can walk alongside or watch. Spectators can watch from below while enjoying delicious Blaze Pizza and 50 flavors of creamy Richardson Farms ice cream from Scoop It. IT Adventure Indoor Ropes Course is for all ages and all abilities.
