MR Magazine Honors Abboud for Excellence in American Menswear

NEW YORK, July 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Joseph Abboud, Chief Creative Director for Tailored Brands Inc., will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award from MR magazine at the MR Awards dinner on Monday, July 18^th at Gotham Hall in New York City. Fresh off of showing his Spring/Summer 2017 collection during New York Fashion Week: Men's on July 12^th, Abboud will be presented this honor by Richard Baker, Governor and Executive Chairman of Hudson's Bay Company.

Abboud is being honored for his many years of success as a designer, manufacturer, retailer, mentor and creative force in the American menswear industry. Each July, the MR Awards recognizes notable industry leaders for the best in menswear with more than 300 retailers and vendors attending.

In addition to the new winners, more than 50 past Lifetime Achievement and Hall of Fame honorees are invited to return each year. About Joseph Abboud
Since the age of sixteen, Joseph Abboud has been passionate about fashion. He started his career in menswear at Louis of Boston and later Polo Ralph Lauren. In 1987, Joseph Abboud launched his own eponymous label.
