Joseph Assignment Global Initiative: Partnering for Tornado Relief
MATTESON, Ill., May 11, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Joseph Assignment Global Initiative partners with the men of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., coordinated by the Chi Lambda Lambda Chapter, Clintex Laboratories, Inc. and New Faith Baptist Church International, for the collection of goods for the tornado victims in Alabama. With the amount of devastation that has hit the South in this unprecedented storm, The Joseph Assignment believes immediate action and support will help the storm victims as they strive to recover and rebuild their homes and communities. Dr. Alexis Felder, President of the Joseph Assignment, will lead the team of volunteers in delivering the donated goods and helping with distribution.
The Joseph Assignment Global Initiative believes in the power of partnership to impact the lives of the world's poorest children and their families. When there is a call, they answer. When there is a need, they supply. The Joseph Assignment is precedent in helping with disaster relief, from Hurricane Katrina, the earthquake in Haiti, and now tornados in the South, they go where the needs are, and they supply them. "This Donation Drive will provide resources to enhance the quality of life of the people of Alabama whose lives were so tragically affected by the recent tornado," states Dr. Alexis Felder. "In addition, this collaboration with Clintex Laboratories, Inc., and the men of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., will allow us to make a greater impact by working together."
