Joseph Gordon-Levitt's Collaborative Production Company, hitRECord, Celebrates #FindYourPark With Innovative Digital Content

WASHINGTON, April 15, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The National Park Service and the National Park Foundation today announced a partnership with hitRECord, a collaborative online production company founded by actor/director Joseph Gordon-Levitt. In support of the Find Your Park movement, hitRECord will encourage its diverse community of artists to submit personal and creative ideas celebrating parks, with 15 ideas ultimately brought to life through collaborative art projects.

Starting today, hitRECord is inviting its community to share their original ideas illustrating all that a park can be and to build upon each other's ideas, creating unique and engaging Find Your Park artwork. In 2016, hitRECord will develop fifteen of the ideas into larger creative projects, ranging from short films and music videos to comedy sets or animation.

It's a beautiful place, and if it weren't for the National Park Service it may not be what it is today," said Joseph Gordon-Levitt, founder of hitRECord. hitRECord members can socialize their ideas and stories by using #FindYourPark and submitting content on hitRECord.org. After the hitRECord community collaborates on the top ideas, the final pieces will be distributed on various channels and showcased on FindYourPark.com.

The Find Your Park public service campaign invites Americans to discover and connect with the 407 national parks as the National Park Service prepares to celebrate its 100^th anniversary in 2016. Find Your Park includes a stream of programs, exhibits, events, promotions and public activities throughout 2015 and 2016 that will encourage everyone to find their park. The campaign includes broadcast, print, digital, outdoor and radio creative featuring arresting visuals of the national parks, as well as public relations, influencer and social media activities.

The campaign has attracted several high profile supporters, including Centennial Ambassadors Bill Nye (scientist), Bella Thorne (TV and film actress), Roselyn Sanchez (TV and film actress), Terrence J. (TV personality) and Mary Lambert (singer/songwriter and LGBT advocate).
