Joslin Diabetes Center Announces Its 2013 Diabetes Innovation Congress

BOSTON, June 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Joslin Diabetes Center, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School and the world's preeminent diabetes care, research and education center, will convene hundreds of leaders and innovators in diabetes and obesity care and prevention at its 2^nd Annual Diabetes Innovation Congress on October 3^rd-5^th at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C.

A convening activity designed to accelerate adoption of innovations that work for all aspects of care and prevention of Diabetes, its complications, related conditions and comorbidities, Diabetes Innovation 2013 brings together all stakeholders - patient, payer, provider and purchaser, as well as academia, industry, technology and government. In 2012 for the inaugural event nearly 500 delegates representing all stakeholders attended the 2 1/2 days and 40+ keynotes, interactive panels, exhibits and other special sessions. In addition to the educational sessions, delegates will have an opportunity for a hands-on look at the latest technologies, innovations and advancements from leading-edge solutions providers that have committed to seeing the systems and processes for diabetes care and prevention improve.
