J.P. Morgan Asset Management - Global Real Assets Appoints George Ahl as Managing Director and Client Portfolio Manager for Real Estate Americas
NEW YORK, April 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- J.P. Morgan Asset Management – Global Real Assets today announced the addition of Managing Director and Client Portfolio Manager George Ahl. Mr. Ahl will be responsible for raising capital and advising clients for the firm's Real Estate Americas investment platform, which has more than $60 billion in gross assets under management and 220 professionals. This is a new position based in New York reporting to Alexia Gottschalch, Managing Director, Head of Business Development and Client Strategy for Real Estate Americas at J.P. Morgan Asset Management – Global Real Assets.

Mr. Ahl joins J.P. Morgan Asset Management – Global Real Assets from Forum Partners where he was a Managing Director responsible for capitalizing global real estate investment strategies and establishing sector-focused, entity-level investment platforms in the U.S. Prior to Forum Partners, he spent more than 16 years as a Founding Principal at M3 Capital Partners with capital raising responsibilities. Mr. Ahl also worked at Crimson Capital, LaSalle Partners and Merrill Lynch Capital Markets.
